The Kendra has a fully equipped workshop with a qualified engineer and technicians for making Hi-Tech Prosthetics & Orthotics articles for the handicapped persons.
Its Vocational Training Centre is equipped with computers, computerized embroidery machine and semi auto flat knitting machine. During the year 2023-24 the total expenditure on various activities mounted to Rs 2.69 lakh.
During the year 2023-24 the hospital organised four polio camps and undertook 50 operations on 25 patients. Since March 2007, a total of 3,019 operations have been conducted on 1,846 patients.
During 2023-24, the ambulance services were requisitioned on 237 occasions. In addition, during the year medicines and tiffin services were provided to 1,138 and 731 patients respectively in Dr. Jivraj Mehta Hospital.
